Using the Himalayan Database with SQL

The Himal SQL Program includes a SQL Search command in the Search menu allows you to build sophisticated searches (or queries) that can extract data from one or more tables.

SQL (Structured Query Language) is a standardized computer language that was developed in the 1970s by the IBM Corporation for accessing information stored in database tables. Microsoft Visual FoxPro and the Himalayan Database support SQL and the Himal SQL program makes SQL available for data queries.

Appendix J to the Himalayan Database Program Guide describes the use of SQL with the Himalayan Database.
